Help us roll bandages as a part of Global Health Ministries mission! This seemingly simple task has a huge impact and benefit to others in need. Proper medical treatment and supplies in Africa are extremely limited and hard for most to afford. Many adults and children don't receive the proper care needed. By providing supplies, such as rolled bandages to hospitals, Global Health Ministries helps those in need receive either free or discounted care as well as an increased level of care. Join our residents, tenants, and volunteers in this amazing service project today!
After a successful used jean donation drive at Perry Lutheran Home comes the next step in the process of turning jeans into shoes for kids in Africa! Join in this great project through Sole Hope that aims to provide employment, health services, education and shoes to those in Africa. Why does this matter? A terrible little bug called jiggers infests the feet of those without shoes. Imagine walking around in pain with an insect burrowed in your feet and eating away at your soles. These shoes will provide the first line of defense in jigger prevention and put a lot of smiles on the faces of kids in Africa!
